More About Holistic
By definition holistic treats the "whole"
body rather than just parts of it. Western medicine treats the symptom and
not the underlying problem. Having said that, the person seeking help from
mainstream medicine never fully recovers. They are handed a prescription to
treat the symptom and sent on their way only to discover another health
problem that the first prescription has caused and are sent home with yet
another prescription to counteract those symptoms. There is no end in sight.
Endless prescription writing keeps most western medicine doctors thriving
and the unwitting patient suffering. In addition, the so-called "approved"
drugs undergo testing done and monitored by the very company that has
manufactured them. New drugs are approved constantly only to end up in
the news several months later with hundreds of people complaining of more
serious complications than they started with.
By opting to be treated holistically one can
finally get to the root of the problem. Most people today, including the
mainstream medical community, will dismiss holistic healing as nothing more
than snake oil medicine and unworthy of any consideration. For those of us
who have had incredible results from using holistic healing or alternative
medicine, we know this to be far from the truth. Mainstream medicine will do
anything to dispel the benefits and successes that holistic has
accomplished.
